Tea is an online clothing store that offers a wide selection of fashion collections for children (newborn up to size 12) and women.
Before creating clothes, Tea's design team travels internationally and gets inspired by everything they see out there - local textiles, colors, architecture, aesthetics, and design practices. When you wear Tea's clothes, it's like if you were travelling around the globe!
Tea also supports the Global Fund for Children - in fact, all proceeds from their Little Citizens line of clothing go to this non-profit foundation.
Now you may be wondering "Why the name Tea?" The drink tea is shared in almost every culture and Tea wanted to interprete and translate this in their collection: experiencing life together, even when we're not in the same place and thus, bringing us closer. Isn't it an awesome philosophy?
Tea is mainly a children's clothing store, but the women's collection was launched in the fall of 2010 in that same spirit - easy-going, culturally-connected styles designed to fit your life. Here are some interesting items I found - although I could never afford any of them:
How gorgeous is this faux-fur scarf on the right?
At the moment Tea only ships to the 50 US States and territories but they do have stores in Australia, Canada, Jamaica and Saudi Arabia. Tea offers free shipping on orders over $150.
