Are Vanderbilt Cheerleaders Smart?

We all know the stereotype of the dumb cheerleader. It's an easy joke. But I started thinking about Vanderbilt and their cheerleaders. Vandy is a well respected school. Really top notch. So does that mean their cheerleaders are really smart too? Anybody know a Vanderbilt cheerleader? Is she smart or a stereotype?

What I think:

I was very eager to try this product as I swear by leave-in conditioners and such products as I regularly use heat and dye on my hair.

The product comes in a cute little pouch

My biggest concern when it comes to leave-in conditioners is that they can be greasy or oily and weight down my hair. I didn't have this problem with the BE Beverly Hills serum at all!

The pump dispenser provides a neat and non-messy application

As you can see from the picture above, the texture is light but not too runny; just perfect. Even after use my hands didn't feel greasy, just soft.

I could smell a very light and subtle lavender scent when I applied the serum on my hands, but it vanished when I applied the product through my hair.

You really don't need a lot of product (of course, it will vary depending on your hair texture), but I was fine with two drops.

In the "before" picture, my hair has just been released from a tight ponytail, which created these loose curls. After I applied the serum, the curls seemed to be more manageable and my hair was noticeably shinier and softer.

Of course, there's some added bonuses: the BE Beverly Hills serum is paraben free, it contains no artifical coloring, it offers SPF protection, and it's not tested on animals.

I didn't find any downsides to this product, except maybe for the price, which can be a little high if you are a student on a budget (like me).

Sally Hansen Hard As Nails Xtreme Wear in White On

I'm sure I'm not the only one who painted my nails with Liquid Paper out of pure boredom in class in high school. I don't know why I never felt the urge to purchase a proper white nail polish until recently.

I must say my first experiences with Sally Hansen Hard As Nails Xtreme Wear were not really positive. I hated the shimmers in the formulas that appeared creamy in the bottle, and it would always chip after 1 day. I kept saying to myself "You get what you pay for."

Recently, I realized that their packaging had changed a little and that they had new shades. Of course, at this price, I couldn't resist, so I opted for White On. I wasn't expecting something amazing, but I was happily surprised. The formula is nicely creamy, not too runny or too thick, and the brush glides perfectly on the nails. Now it's been 3 days, and I can't see a single chip!

George Mason Cheerleaders

We're going mid-major today. George Mason may have just lost their basketball coach to The U, but they still have some pretty cute cheerleaders for a CAA squad.

Maryland Cheerleaders Rule!

I don't really pay attention to Maryland sports much. They never play any teams I care about. They're too far away to get any coverage on. And, honestly, there just isn't that much to care about now that Ralph Freidgen is gone.

But I think that is all about to change after seeing these pictures. Their cheerleaders are freakin' hot! And I'm putting together a collection of bikini shots that I should be able to post sometime soon. So be sure to be on the look-out for those.

March Empties

Earth Therapeutics Gardener's Hand Repair Protective Conditioner

I got this from Winners for around $7. I thought it was quite pricey at the time, but that it must be worth it as it claims to be a "protective conditioner" and I was looking for a good hand cream to protect my eczema-prone hands when I was working as a gas station attendant. Oh and of course, when I see something labelled "shea butter" or "oatmeal", I can't resists (silly? Yes, I know). But in the end, this product didn't really work for me. The texture is too light, and it didn't really protect my hands from the irritants I had to deal with everyday ( car oil, water, gas, etc).

Burt's Bees Baby Bee Skin Creme

I figured a creme designed for babies could only be good for me... but I was wrong. The texture is quite strange, it's very solid and it's hard to apply on the skin, and it didn't even feel moisturizing. I wasn't fond of the srong scent either. I never thought Burt's Bees could disappoints me one day...

Fruits & Passion Field Berries Foaming Bath

This is total crap. The foam - if there's any foam at all - will only stays for around 10 minutes. At this price, I would have expected a luxurious bath!

Naturally Upper Canada Cranberry Moro Orange Foaming Bath Milk

I can't believe this costs $3! Yes it smells great, but it's good for only one use and it does absolutely NOTHING. It doesn't foam at all, you can't even tell there's something in your bath! Glad I got it in a gift package.

I got this in a gift package and totally forgot about it until recently, when I decided it was time to clean up my bath products. It's good for only one use and it doesn't really do something.

Look at the brush after only 1 month or so of use:

Crap is still a weak word to describe this... thing. It's not completely used up though, but it's all dried up and it's a mess to use. GARBAGE.

  Burt's Bees Beeswax Lip Balm

1 down, only 8 more to go LOL! I tend to stock up on these when I find them on sale. Seriously, I love this lipbalm, it's such a staple. It's the first natural lipbalm I have ever tried, and I instantly got hooked! It tends to let me down when the weather is really harsh, but otherwise, it does the job.

Clobetasol Ointment 0.05% w/w Topical Corticosteroid

This is the only thing that can temporarily get rid of my eczema. It's quite strong and it tends to discolor my skin and makes it thinner, but I couldn't care less, as long as my eczema goes away. Sadly, these's no permanent treatment for eczema, so I have no choice but continue to use it.

Am I the only one who thinks the little deisgn in the red square looks like poo? Yes, I'm that immature LOL.

Repurchase? yes, but I will try the generic version before to see if it works just as well.

Burt's Bees Orange Essence Facial Cleanser with orange oil (sample)

Wow, I can't believe I haven't tried this cleanser before! It's absolutely amazing for my dry and eczema-prone skin as it's non-foaming and oily. You might want to use a toner after use as it tends to leave a film on the skin. I love it as it's so moisturizing. I will buy the full size tube for sure!

I didn't really enjoy using those samples. The shampoo didn't leather really well (although I do know a shampoo doesn't need to lather to be effective, it's just my personal preference) and the conditioner was to light for my liking.
