I was contacted by Selina from Cellnique to become part of Cellnique’s bloggers community and do products review on my blog. She asked for my skin condition or my skin concern so she could send the suitable products for my skin condition.

My main skin concerns are:
  • dry skin
  • large pores
  • little signs of aging (fine lines under the eyes and around the mouth)

These are the products I received:

Amino Collagen C Intense Set
Advance Bio Renewal Serum
Vital Cellular Repair Emulsion

I've been using these products for about a month now, and I think it's time I share my opinion with you.

Let's start with some "before and after" pictures:

 Before

 After

I don't know if you can see a difference, but for me, there's definitely an improvment. My skin is much clearer and radiant, the pores on my nose and chin are smaller, and my skin is less dry.

These are the guidelines to use the products in my daily beauty routine:

Amino Collagen C Intense Set

Price: US $96.00/10ml x 2

The claims:

How to use:

Ingredients:

Pros:
  • doesn't really have a scent
  • very light texture
  • absorbs quickly into skin
  • my pores are noticeably smaller after a few weeks of use
  • I noticed improved skin texture

Cons:
  • Intense I stings and burns sensitive skin
  • the dropper dispenser leaks
  • didn't not get rid of all of my dry skin patches
  • expensive

What I think:

I had better results with Intense I than with Intense II. When I look at the pictures I took before beginning this routine, I can really tell that my pores are smaller, especially on my nose and my chin, and I find this truly amazing because I've never used a product that gave similar results. However, I was scared of using it because it stings and burns my dry skin like hell (even when I used Intense II first, as they suggest for sensitive skin), so I ended up using it only on my nose, chin and cheeks. Intense II did not get rid of all of my dry patches, but it significantly moisturized my skin.

Advance Bio Renewal Serum

Price: US $51.00/30ml

The claims:

How to use:

Ingredients:

Pros:
  • thick and creamy but fluid texture
  • the scent reminds me of vanilla yogurt

Cons:
  • not moisturizing enough
  • didn't appear to have done something to my skin
  • expensive

What I think:
I didn't notice anything special after using this product. I didn't notice a "fresh, radiant and healthy looking skin". This product didn't appear to have dissolved pore clogging debris as I don't see a difference regarding the blackheads on my nose and chin. And I'm not sure if it reduced the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles because the only fine lines I have are around my eyes and around my mouth.

Vital Cellular Repair Emulsion

Price: US $73.00/30g

The claims:

How to use:

Ingredients:

Pros:
  • doesn't really have a scent
  • my skin is noticeably softer after use
  • creamy texture

Cons:
  • not moisturizing enough
  • isn't absorbed quickly enough into skin
  • a little greasy
  • expensive

What I think:
This cream moisturized my skin a little, but not enough. As it is anti-inflammatory, it calmed the redness on my face cause by dryness. I like the creamy texture, but it doesn't sink right into the skin. However, I appreaciate the fact that my skin is noticeably softer after use. As

Stay tune for my next post tomorrow because the people from Cellnique are so great, they would also like to offer free samples of Vital Cellular Repair Emulsion to my readers! Details to come tomorrow!

University of Central Missouri Cheerleaders

We're going small school today. UCM is a Division II school in Warrensburg, MO. Not much to do in Warrensburg really. But apparently they do have some cute cheerleaders (though some of these pics are old).

Their list of famous alums is interesting:
Now that is just a fun list of alums. I can't imagine why anyone wouldn't want to go to school at UCM.

Not Even The Florida State Cheerleaders Actually Believe Christian Ponder is a Heisman Candidate

The CP7 for Heisman website is just silly. Ponder has got no legitimate shot at winning the Heisman this year. Hell, his career stats are a good SEASON for some of the guys that might actually win the award. Regardless, I got a good laugh out of it and now have an excuse to post some FSU cheerleaders.

McMaster University Cheerleaders in a Parade

We're keeping it small today and heading north of the border to Hamilton, Ontario's McMaster University. McMaster is an old school that dates all the way back to the 1880s.

Amazingly enough, McMaster has a lot of very funny famous alums:
  • Martin Short (I'm not really a fan, but The Three Amigos is a classic)
  • Ivan Reitman (who directed/produced a ton of classics like Ghostbusters, Stripes & Old School)
  • Eugene Levy (a guy that is vastly under-rated)
  • John Candy (an actor that I really miss)
They also seem to have some cute cheerleaders.

OOTN: Sun-kissed skin so hot, we'll melt your popsicle, oooooh oh oooooh

Last week, I met with some friends to have dinner at Chez Milot and then we headed to Radio Lounge in Montreal. This is what I wore to dinner because I didn't have time to change before:

Cardigan: Giant Tiger
Tank top: Forever 21
Shorts: Stitches (those were an old pair of jeans I cute into shorts)

I did my hair before the restaurant to save time, but as you can see in the pictures below, it didn't hold its curls through the day because it was so hot and humid, despite my overload of hairspray. And after the club, it was totally falling flat LOL.

After dinner, I changed to go clubbing:

with Sara and Véronique (I did Sara's makeup!)

 What a dumb smile LOL

Cami: Simons
Necklace: Avon
Studs earrings: eBay

with Sara and Gen

I don't have a picture of my full outfit, but I wore this skirt from Limité:

It is really short (I wouldn't wear it on the street), but it was on sale ($10, if I remember well) and I couldn't get over the pretty lace details:

The day after, my father found a stray dog in your yard! Don't worry, we found his owner pretty quickly and handed him to her. I bet he ran from the house because he was scared of the storm. Poor doggie!

It's a shih tzu named Toufou.

The way he sits is just too cute! I was wondering if he had legs problems, though )=

with my mother

We gave him cat food because we were worried he would be starving - and he ate it!

It was nice meeting you, Toufou!
