Game of the Week: #3 Oklahoma v. #11 Texas

Regardless of record, the Red River Rivalry is damn near always the game of the week. So when both teams are in the Top 11, you know it's going to get some special treatment. Both teams are stocked with athletes and enough hatred for each other that this could be one of the games of the year.

On the sidelines (and in the stands, for that matter) there is another heavyweight battle ensuing. Both teams have super hot cheerleading squads that make most other schools jealous. Take a look at the contenders and let me know who's hotter.

The Cheerleaders in Texas Are Friendly

I've often wondered just how great cheerleader camp is in real life. I'm sure it doesn't match the picture in my head, but it has to be at least a little bit awesome.

And these pictures certainly don't help dispell the theories in my head. What's better than cheerleaders from a couple of rival schools hanging out and taking pictures together? Oh the joys of cheer camp!

NCAA Tourney Round 1 Cheerleader Preview - #4 Texas v. #13 Oakland

I just don't understand why people are picking this as one of their 1st round upsets. I know Texas yacked away the Big 12 regular season championship, but they doesn't mean they aren't 20 points better than Oakland. Just a strange pick, in my opinion.

MY PICK: TEXAS

Thursday Night Football Cheerleader Preview -- Texas A&M v. Texas

This is a huge game for Texas and the Big 12 South. If Texas wins, they just barely become bowl eligible at 6-6 on the season. They also knock A&M out of contention for the Big 12 South title (which is a long shot anyway). If Texas A&M wins, there could be ANOTHER 3-way tie for the Big 12 South crown (assuming Oklahoma beats Oklahoma State on Saturday). Confused yet? Well don't worry, there are cheerleaders coming to save the day.

Week 7 Winners -- Texas

Weekly Winners is our weekly highlights of college football teams that pulled off upsets during the previous weekend. As usual, we will celebrate these upsets with cheerleaders. And maybe a little snarky commentary.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! I knew it was only a matter of time until Nebraska was exposed. Once they finally played a team that any semblance of a defense (I'm looking at you Washington), Taylor Martinez wasn't quite so magical. Of course, it didn't help that the Nub receivers couldn't catch a cold Saturday. Regardless, thank you Texas for showing the rest of the country what most of us in Big 12 country already knew.

Game of the Day -- #21 Texas v. #8 Oklahoma

There might be other games today that have more star power from a Top 25 angle (like Florida/Alabama or Stanford/Oregon), but the Red River Rivalry is always a monster battle. Plus, this year we can add the completely retarded tweets from OU's Jaz Reynolds to the hatred that defines this game. Regardless of Texas' slip up last week, I think you'd be a fool to count them out of this game before it starts.

NCAA TOURNEY ROUND 1 PREVIEW -- (8) Texas v. (9) Wake Forest

Two teams from major conferences that both really disappointed this year. Hell, Texas was ranked #1 at one point this season. What a waste. At the same time, this team could totally catch fire and make a run to the Final Four. They have that much talent. Don't expect it, though.

Game Of The Day: Texas @ UCONN

The best game on today's docket should be #1 (for a few more days) Texas and #21 Connecticut. Of course, UCONN is without their head coach right now and Texas just lost it's first game as the nation's top team, so each squad could be struggling. Neither team is playing great right now, but there will be a ton of talent on the court and that is always a good thing.

There will also be a ton of talent on the sidelines. These girls are HOT!!

BCS National Championship Game -- Texas v. Alabama

It's finally here. We've only been waiting for just over a month since the SEC and Big 12 Championship games to see Alabama and Texas take the field to decide the BCS champion. With all due respect to Boise State, the winner of this game is the national champion. No if, ands or buts about it.

And I have to admit that I'm fairly excited about this game. You've got Alabama trying to beat the Longhorns and the Heisman curse. And you've got Tejas trying to prove the Big 12 actually can win a big time bowl game. Unfortunately, this game probably won't live up to the hype and will struggle to be as good as last night's GMAC Bowl (which I mistakenly bashed yesterday).

Regardless, tonight is the last college football game for 8 months. So enjoy it as much as possible because all we can do after tonight is argue about whose recruiting class is better, which young WR is the next Julio Jones and which Tennessee player will be the next to be arrested (my money is on Bryce Brown, by the way).
