Do you think West Virginia got distracted by all of the conference realignment chatter? I'd be distracted to if I was headed to the Big 12 soon.
NCAA Tourney Round 1 Cheerleader Preview - #3 Syracuse v. #14 Indiana State
The last game of the 1st round! And a close to the best 2 days in all of sports. Syracuse is a trendy to pick to end up in the Final Four, but I don't think they have the horses this year. There is no doubt they're good, but they are in a tough bracket. I think they make a good run, but fall short.

Game of the Day -- #7 Villanova v. #3 Syracuse
So this match-up loses a little luster with both teams coming off a loss on Monday, but it's still a tilt between 2 of the top teams in the Big East and the country. I'd expect a rough and tough game with somebody winning a close game. Predicition? Not so much.
PS: I've hit my limit on images added to Picasa (the image host Blogger uses), so I've had to start using a new image host. I went with ImageShack, so we'll see how that goes. Please let me know if this becomes a pain in the ass and I'll try to come up with a new solution.

Pinstripe Bowl Cheerleader Preview -- Kansas State v. Syracuse
I'm obviously a Big 12 guy, but I couldn't possibly care any less about this game. Nothing about K-State v. Syracuse excites me. Not even a little bit. I even had friends that went to K-State and I can't muster even a faint interest in this game. Maybe that's because it's being played in Yankee Stadium the day before New Year's Eve. Just sounds freakin' cold to me.

Weekly Winners is our weekly highlights of college football teams that pulled off upsets during the previous weekend. As usual, we will celebrate these upsets with cheerleaders. And maybe a little snarky commentary.
Good Lord the Big East sucks at football! I was actually tricked into believing West Virginia was decent, then they go out and lay a giant egg against Syracuse. Syracuse? Does Jim Boehiem coach football too? Because that's the only way I can envision West Virginia ever losing to the Cuse.

NCAA Tourney Sweet 16 Preview -- (1) Syracuse v. (5) Butler
Looks like all the talk of Syracuse's early demise were a little premature. I mean come on, this is Syracuse. You didn't think they'd have a couple of guys that could step up and pick up some of the slack?
I will admit, though, I was wrong about Butler. They have looked pretty good so far. But they still haven't played a big time school yet. They lucked out when Murray State beat Vandy for them. This is going to be their first real test of the tournament, and it's a doozy. I don't think they have the horses to run with 'Cuse.

What in the hell is a Catamount? What in the hell is an Orangeman? They should call this the Battle of the Stupid Mascots. On the positive side, I think people are putting too much emphasis on Syracuse's injury issues. I mean, the 'Cuse is in the house! Oh my God!

Syracuse v. West Virginia: The Cheerleader Preview
We've got a battle of Top 10 teams today when Syracuse travels to Morgantown to face West Virginia. Both teams are off to great starts, and this should be a heck of a game. As usual, we're only interested in the cheerleader battle. I gotta go with West Virginia on this one, just based on flexibility!

Why are there so many pre-season basketball tournaments these days? I watched part of the South Padre Invitational and it looked like they were playing in a high school gym. And a small high school gym at that. Oh well, guess we'll just have to make a positive out of a negative and salute as many of the tourney champs as we can.

Syracuse Cheerleaders
The 'Cuse certainly looks like they are for real this year. Sure it was essentially a home game, but they pistol-whipped Cal last night at Madison Square Garden. Impressive win.
