Dr Hess products: Dr Hess Udder Ointment is said to be by far the best healing skin care ointment on the market today so I was very glad to be kindly sent these products to help with my eczema. Dr Hess products are recommended if you are dealing with problem skin, eczema, chafing, severe dryness, diabetic skin damage, cracked heels etc.

  • Udder Ointment
  • Udder Stick Mint Lip Balm with SPF 15
  • Udder Stick Original Lip Balm with SPF 15
  • Udder Stick Pomegranate Lip Balm with SPF 15
  • Udder Stick Mango Lip Balm with SPF 15

Bronze Ambition Self Tan products: I kept hearing great things about these fake tan products on UK beauty blogs but I never saw them around here and I was really surprised to be given the opportunity to test drive some of them! I wouldn't say I'm complexed of my pale skin tone but I don't really like it and I like to use a little fake tan to give me a healthy glow, especially in the winter wher I can easily look dead. Here's what I was sent:

  • Sun-Kissed Mist Instant Spray Tan
  • Bronze Me Mousse Instant + Self Tan Foam
  • Glow 'N 'Go Instant Tan Shimmer
  • Fake Don't Bake Natural Look Tanning Cream

HANA Titanium 1.5" Flat Iron from Misikko.com: I have worked with Misikko in the past and I'm delighted to have the chance to team up with them again for another product review! Misikko seriously has the best customer service and they always spoil you when they send you a package. Alon with the flat iron, Brian very kindly included other products in my package such as heat proof pad and pouch, flowers shaped soaps, LA Color Eyeshadow, ELF Hypershine Lipgloss, hairbrush, etc.

♫ In The Dark - DEV

FOTD + OOTD: You had a lot of crooks tryna steal your heart, never really had luck, couldn’t never figure out how to love

I've been requested a look using MAC Surf Baby Cheek Powder in My Paradise that I recently won in Michelle's 100 followers giveaway (thank you again Michelle!) and I couldn't wait to show you how gorgeous it is!

Face

OLAY  Regenerist Eye Touch of Concealer Eye Regenerating Cream *
Marcelle Concealer Palette - Universal Beige
Benefit That Gal Brightening Face Primer *
Sheer Cover Mineral Foundation SPF 15 - Bisque *
MAC Surf Baby Cheek Powder - My Paradise

Eyes

L'Oréal Voluminous Carbon Black *
Too Faced Eye Shadow - Sitcom Siren

Lips

Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick - Pink In The Afternoon

L - R: only the blush color, only the overspray, both blended together

As I mentionned above, the sole purpose of this FOTD was to show you how gorgeous My Paradise looked once applied on the cheeks... but of course I forgot to take proper pictures before leaving for school, so I had to rush to take pictures with my phone once in my car, hence the crappy quality. I hope you can still see how gorgeous and shimmery it is? I have found the glitters to be quite chunky and hard to blend but I love how they tone down the blush a bit, because it's super pigmented.

* Product tested on animals. You may (or may not) be aware that Gaby's Beauty Blog recently went cruelty-free. However, I hope it's understandable that I can't simply throw away the products I have previously purchased that have unfortunately been tested on animals - believe me, I wouldn't hesitate if I were rich! My goal is to use up those products but not repurchase them in the future. Also, Gaby's Beauty Blog will no longer accept for review purposes products that have been tested on animals.

Giveaways I have won in November

 My prize from Lisamarie's giveaway

  • Avon Healthy Makeup Mousse Foundation in Natural Beige
  • Avon Healthy Makeup Lipstick SPF 15 in Pink Light
  • Avon Healthy Makeup Lip Conditioner SPF 15 in Nude Blush
  • Avon Healthy Makeup Eyeshadow in Iced Mocha
  • Avon Healthy Makeup Eyeshadow in Violet Dusk

Mousse Foundation in Natural Beige: At first, I thought this would be a little too dark for my light skintone, but when blended, it matches perfectly! I never wear foundation and this is the first mousse foundation I get to try, and I'm pretty happy with it. It is very light and it leaves my skin so soft!

Lipstick SPF 15 in Pink Light (top) and Lip Conditioner SPF 15 in Nude Blush (bottom) : Both of those lipsticks are a little too dark for everyday wear against my light skintone, but they can easily be toned down with a single swipe. Also, in pictures, both shades look very similar...

Eyeshadow in Violet Dusk (left) and Iced Mocha (right) : These are cream to powder eyeshadows and they glide so well on the lid, but they crease like crazy )=

Revlon Nail Enamel in Rock: I don't have a purple shade in my nail polish collection, so this one will be perfect! It's gorgeous, even though it looks more blue in the pictures z=

Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure in Gilty Pleasure: I've been pretty curious about this all-in-one nail polish, and let me tell you, it's amazing! It went 5 days without a single chip, and it's very easy and fast to remove.

Thank you Sharon! =D

Thank you Tammy!

My prize from Julie's giveaway

  • Mega Shine Lipgloss in La La
  • Lipstick in Tea Rose
  • Eyeshadow in Sensual
  • Rouge Cream Blush in Natural
  • Liquid Crystal Liner in Crystal Onyx
  • Doll Eye Mascara Long Lash in Extreme Black
  • Jumbo Eye Pencil in French Fries

Mega Shine Lipgloss in La La: Wow, this shade is absolutely stunning! I also like how the applicator is slightly curvy to "hug" the lips. Oh and it smells very sweet, like candy! Yummy ^^

Lipstick in Tea Rose: I had quite a hard time deciding which shade to get as it's hard to tell how the colors will come out from the swatches on the NYX website, so I browsed the net for real swatches, and I finally decided to get this neutral pink. I still think it's a little too dark for my skintone, but then again, I'm very light, so maybe I just need to get used to it.

Eyeshadow in Sensual: I totally have a thing for those gorgeous dark glittery shades.

Liquid Crystal Liner in Crystal Onyx and Jumbo Eye Pencil in French Fries: I searched the net for swatches of the Crystal Liners and Onyx is the only one that has a colored base, so I picked it. I've heard lots of good things about the Jumbo Eye Pencils, but this one creased on me after less than 1 hour )=

Rouge Cream Blush in Natural: This is my first cream blush, and the shade is perfect. However, I find it hard to blend on the cheeks, but maybe I just have to get used to it?

Merci Julie!

Wow, I seriously feel like it's Christmas already! I've been spoiled! Thank you so much girlies! =D
