Cute Utah Cheerleader Presents A New Blog Friend

A couple of weeks ago I got an email telling me to check out some dude's blog. I get this kind of email all the time and most of them are a giant waste. This one, however, was completely different. Ute Girls is a blog dedicated to "the beautiful women of the University of Utah." And that means tons of great cheerleader pics.

We've posted pics of the Utah cheerleaders on here before, but this guy's library is just amazing. It's definitely one stop shopping for all things University of Utah cheerleaders. You need to check them out, but you might want to pick a time when you have like an hour to get through his entire blog!

MAACO Bowl Las Vegas Cheerleader Preview -- #19 Utah v. #10 Boise State

So this is what happens when you miss 2 chip shot field goals and fall out of the gauranteed BCS slot? Wow, talk about a huge fall. At least they get to go to Las Vegas in late December. That has got to be an upside for all those people stuck up in Boise.

Game of the Day -- #3 TCU v. #5 Utah

Pretty easy to pick the game of the day this week. Any time you have two Top 5 teams meeting in the 10th week of the season, that is a HUGE game. And I don't care if you think one or both of these teams is overrated. The simple fact is the winner of this game is damn near guaranteed a BCS Bowl game and has the potential to play for a national title (assuming some other teams lose, of course).

Utah is a very talented team, but I just don't see them having the horses to run with TCU in this game. TCU's defense is sick, and their offense is good enough to win this game. But I'm going with the Horned Frogs because they EASILY have the hottest cheerleaders in this match-up. That is undeniable.

Week 1 Winners -- Utah Utes

Weekly Winners is our weekly highlights of college football teams that pulled off upsets during the previous weekend. As usual, we will celebrate these upsets with cheerleaders. And maybe a little snarky commentary.

Congrats to the Utes for "upsetting" the #15 Pitt Panthers on college football's opening night. Not sure how a Top 15 goes on the road to a MWC team and is an underdog, but whatever. I figured Pitt was going to be an underachiever this year, I just didn't think they'd prove it in the first game.

Poinsettia Bowl -- Utah v. Cal

The first of our two flower bowls (the Rose Bowl being the other one, of course), the Poinsettia Bowl has a couple of teams that under-achieved a little bit this year. Regardless, there is still plenty to watch here. For starters you have sensational running back Jahvid Best . . . oh wait . . . he's gone. At least both teams come into the game hot. Wait, that's not true either. I guess the saving grace is watching The Utes try to extend the nation's longest bowl game winning streak to 9. Whoopee!!!
