Fight Hunger Bowl Cheerleader Preview -- Nevada v. Boston College

Yet another horribly named bowl game. Honestly, who comes up with this crap? It's just getting embarassing at this point.

But tonight we have the giant killers getting their reward of playing a bowl game as the only college game of the day. Nevada saved everyone a lot of trouble by knocking of Boise State at the end of the season. I wish it would have turned into a better bowl for them, but beggers can't be choosers I guess. They should at least be able to finish off a 13-1 season and become the greatest team in school history.

Week 13 Winners -- Nevada

Weekly Winners is our weekly highlights of college football teams that pulled off upsets during the previous weekend. As usual, we will celebrate these upsets with cheerleaders. And maybe a little snarky commentary.

Now we finally get to the big one. The upset cheered all across the college football landscape. The game of the dual missed chip shots. Guess someone upstairs (God if you are religious or the BCS if you are a conspiracy theorist) just didn't want Boise State anywhere near the BCS Championship Game. Try to get into a real conference and then we'll talk Broncos. But until then, THANK YOU NEVADA!!!!!

Nevada Wolfpack Cheerleaders

I saw a reference to the famous "Wolfpack of One" speech from The Hangover today, so I thought it was fitting to post these Nevada cheerleaders. The connections my brain makes scare me sometimes.

A Wolfpack of One

I don't know if anybody else thought Zach Galifianakis was funny on SNL Saturday night, but I sure did. That may be a pretty weak tie-in to this cute Nevada cheerleader, but I'm pretty sure you didn't come here for the writing and wit!

Hawaii Bowl -- Nevada v. SMU

This is a bowl game worth watching (FINALLY!!) Nevada has 3 1,000 yard rushers on the same team. THREE! How is that possible? Now, it looks like only 2 of those will be eligible for this game, but still. They are an explosive team that is very fun to watch. And then there is SMU, a team that throws the ball an average of 36 times a game. This is SMU's first bowl game since they earned the death penalty in the '80s, so you know the Mustangs are going to be fired up. Still, I'm going with Nevada to win an absolute shoot-out!
