Is there anything better than a bunch of hot chicks hanging around while you play a round of golf? And hot cheerleaders at that? This is the kind of fundraiser I would gladly attend!

TicketCity Bowl Cheerleader Preview -- Northwestern v. Texas Tech

Northwestern has not won a bowl game since 1949. I'm willing to bet there aren't more than 3 people that look at this blog that were even alive the last time the Wildcats won a bowl game. Though I guess I could be wrong about that (let me know in the comments!). Regardless, I think this is the year they finally get this monkey off their backs. Tech is a good team, but they really aren't quite there yet (even if they did beat my Missouri Tigers). The Wildcats end the streak this year. Write it down.

Week 10 Winners -- Texas Tech

Weekly Winners is our weekly highlights of college football teams that pulled off upsets during the previous weekend. As usual, we will celebrate these upsets with cheerleaders. And maybe a little snarky commentary.


Oh come on! Really? I could handle losing to Nebraska, but Texas Tech? That's just annoying. Mizzou rushed for 182 yards on 14 carries in the first quarter, then rushed for a total of 78 yards on 17 carries in the next 3 quarters. Just inexcusable!

This cutie has a ridiculous body. Just look at those abs! And as an aside, God bless the person that turned Halloween into a holiday for college chicks to dress as sexy as humanly possible. And her friends aren't ugly either!

Texas Tech Is A Surprisingly Good Team

I don't know how they did it, but Tech has become a pretty decent squad. They quietly creeped into the top 40 RPI just recently. Who woulda thunk it?

Alamo Bowl -- Texas Tech v. Michigan State

Sparty's boys have been bad. Apparently there was a massive brawl at a fraternity potluck dinner and quite a few Michigan State football players have some explaining to do. To me, it just sounds like your typical big family get together. There's ham, potatos, pie and a few haymakers. What's everyone so worried about?

Texas Tech is becoming a pretty solid squad. What used to be a sideshow gimmick offense has turned into a sustainable program. They haven't been able to make the leap over the big boys in the Big 12 South, but they seem to be bowl bound pretty much every year. Plus, Mike Leach is always good for a few terribly random quotes throughout the season.
