M I Z! S E C! M I Z! S E C!

With the official announcement on Sunday, my Missouri Tigers became the 14th member of the Southeastern Conference. While some Tiger fans are sad to leave the rivalries we've had for over 100 years, I think most of us are excited to start competing in the best conference in the country. Every sport is going to have to get better to compete in the SEC, but that's exactly what we plan on doing. Immediately.

The one squad nobody is talking about, though, is the spirit squad. We all know that schools like Florida, LSU, Alabama and Ole Miss bring some serious thunder with their cheerleaders and dancers. So now the Mizzou cheerleaders and Golden Girls are going to have to step up their game to even higher levels. No worries, we've got this covered.

Week 9 Winners - Missouri

Well it's about goddamned time! I didn't think my Tigers were ever going to win a big game this year. Mizzou is only the 2nd team to beat Texas A&M in College Station in back-to-back trips since like the 1920s. That's kind of impressive.

Mizzou Golden Girl Kelsey

I've had some traffic from the Mizzou Rivals site for some reason today, so I thought I'd honor that traffic by highlighting an adorable Golden Girl named Kelsey. She might not be drop dead gorgeous, but I think she's just cute as hell.

Mizzou Cheerleaders & Golden Girls Not Quite Sold on Frank Haith Yet

Mizzou fans are trying to get behind the curious hire of Frank Haith as the new head basketball coach. But it's kinda hard. 95% of us had never even heard of the guy before they announced his hire. Maybe he'll be great, but most of us are skeptical. At least we still have our cheerleaders and Golden Girls.

NCAA Tourney Round 1 Cheerleader Preview - #6 Cincinnati v. #11 Missouri

And we finally get to the game that I really care about. Now I realize my Tigers have not played well lately, but an 11-seed? Really? Seems a little low to me, but I like the match-up with the Bearcats. I realize they come from the almighty Big East, but I'm just not scared of Cincy. I don't know why. They are obviously a good ball club, but they just don't seem as opposing as a lot of Big East teams.

MY PICK: MISSOURI (shocking!)

My Missouri Tigers Need A Boost

And what better way to boost a basketball team than with some great pics of their cheerleaders? I think these pictures are going to be popular for some crazy reason.

Game of the Day -- #2 kansas v. #24 Missouri

This is the biggest game of the year for Missouri fans. Most of us know we're going to get beat when we play in Lowrents, but playing the Imaginary Blue Birds at home is a completely different story. Mizzou is damn good at home, and the crowd is obviously going to be at a fever pitch today.

Plus, the Tigers need this game. We got our asses kicked at Nebraska on Tuesday night. Getting this signature win to close out the regular season would be a big bump going into the post-season.

Let's Go Tigers!!!!
