I can't believe bowl season kicks off today. This truly is the most wonderful time of the year. There is basically football on television every single day. And that means there are cheerleaders on TV every single day.
Unfortunately, we have to wade through a whole bunch of crappy bowl games before we get to anything decent. The New Mexico Bowl is no exception. As a general rule of thumb, the bowl is probably not that great if it's named after a state/place. I don't see this game being all that exciting.
I'm taking Fresno State and the nation's leading rusher Ryan Mathews in this one.
