Week 8 Winners - Purdue

I knew Illinois couldn't keep this charade up for long. Not with Ron Zook as their head coach.

I'm sure those aren't there official uniforms, but I can't imagine there would be a single guy in West Lafayette who would complain if that was the case. Maybe we could justify it by claiming budget cuts forced them to use less fabric. Works for me!

NCAA Tourney Round 1 Cheerleader Preview - #3 Purdue v. #14 St. Peter's

A 3-seed for Purdue? Really? Isn't that a bit of a stretch? Especially with Texas getting a 4-seed as the #2 team out of the Big 12. I just don't get the love for the Big 10. Maybe I'm just biased, but I don't see Purdue getting past Georgetown in the 2nd round.

NCAA Tourney Sweet 16 Preview -- (1) Duke v. (4) Purdue

Wait just a second. I thought Purdue was done once Hummel went down? There was no way they were going to beat Siena. And then once they squeeked by them (in a game they had won just a few minutes into the 2nd half) they knocked off a strong Texas A&M squad in overtime. Now they get to play spoiler/underdog once again against top-seeded Duke. Let's go Boilermakers!!!

NCAA TOURNEY ROUND 1 PREVIEW -- (4) Purdue v. (13) Siena

Here is the upset that EVERYBODY is picking. Is it really an upset when the lower seed gets picked more than the higher seed? Look, I realize Robby Hummel's injury is a big deal, but we're talking about Siena here. Are they really that good? I don't know, but I sure picked them to win. I didn't want to be the only one that didn't get that game right.

Purdue Cheerleaders Reliving the 90s

I don't think most people realize it, but Purdue is a nationally relevant basketball program again. Hell, most people probably don't realize that Gene Keady (and his ridiculous combover) isn't the coach at Purdue anymore. But these guys are pretty darn good. Just ask Ohio State!
