With the official announcement on Sunday, my
Missouri Tigers became the 14th member of the Southeastern Conference. While some Tiger fans are sad to leave the rivalries we've had for over 100 years, I think most of us are excited to start competing in the best conference in the country. Every sport is going to have to get better to compete in the SEC, but that's exactly what we plan on doing. Immediately.
The one squad nobody is talking about, though, is the spirit squad. We all know that schools like
Florida,
LSU,
Alabama and
Ole Miss bring some serious thunder with their cheerleaders and dancers. So now the Mizzou cheerleaders and Golden Girls are going to have to step up their game to even higher levels. No worries, we've got this covered.
