The game of the week for Week 3 is a no-brainer. Any time you have #1 v. #5 in the 3rd week of the season it's going to be the one to watch. Not to mention we've got a couple of storied programs in an out-of-conference tilt. This has the makings of a good one.
But let's be honest, the real battle in Tallahassee will be taking place on the sidelines. Both programs will have some smokin' hot cheerleaders on display Saturday night, so we're here to break down the cheer war.
Florida State has some advantage here since they are playing at home. That means the FSU Cowgirls are going to be on full display. Speaking of the Cowgirls, Busted Coverage did a great Where Are They Now on the original Cowgirls the other day. We all know about Jenn Sterger, but the rest of the girls seem to be doing OK.
The only problem with Florida State touting the Cowgirls is that Oklahoma is going to be bringing down some REAL cowgirls. And you know what they say about country girls! This is shaping up to be a battle of epic proportions. I'll post the pics. You decide which squad is hotter.

Florida State Cheerleaders Ready For A Big Season
Everyone seems to expect a lot out of Florida State this year. The Coaches' Poll has them #5 to start the season. I'm sure the AP Poll will have them that high as well.
Me? I don't really expect too much out them, honestly. But then again, I don't care. Their cheerleaders, on the other hand? I expect a ton out of them next year. And it looks to me like they are ready to deliver.

NCAA Tourney Round 1 Cheerleader Preview - #7 Texas A&M v. #10 Florida State
All year the pundits and experts talked about how tough the Big 12 Conference was the 2nd best conference in the country. Then tourney time comes and only 5 teams make the field. And those 5 teams seemed to get lower than expected seeds (except for Kansas, of course). Personally, I think A&M got the biggest shaft. The fourth place team in the 2nd best conference gets a 7-seed? Really? OK, guess the conference is just going to have to prove everyone wrong.

Florida State Cheerleaders Celebrate A Great Recruiting Class
Wednesday was National Signing Day for high school seniors signing letters of intent to play college football next year. The suprise of NSD (for me at least) was the impressive haul coach Jimbo Fisher reeled in at Florida State. After his first year at the helm, Fisher pulled off a major recruiting coup finishing with the #1 class according to ESPN #2 according to rivals.
I'm wondering if the smokin' hot cheerleaders had anything to do with the great recruiting class. It's kinda hard to say no when a sexy coed is trying to get you to sign on the dotted line!

Florida State Hottie From One Of My New Favorite Blogs
I just recently found a new blog called College Chick Fan (be warned, some of their stuff is definitely NSFW). Among some of their racier stuff, they seem to have a ton of college cheerleader pics. And most of them seem to be focused on Florida and Florida State. So this hottie is just one example of their work, but I plan on sharing a lot more in the coming weeks and months. Or you could just go check them out for yourself.
Chick-fil-A Bowl Cheerleader Preview -- #20 South Carolina v. #23 Florida State
Today's final games matches 2 teams that lost their conference championship and are looking to put the finishing touches on satifying 10-win seasons. There was a time, albeit a very SHORT time, when the Gamecocks had much higher aspirations for this season. But following up their win over Alabama with a road loss at Kentucky thoroughly shattered those dreams. 10 wins is still a big milestone and one the team should be proud of. It's hard to root against a coach named Jimbo, though, so I think FSU pulls this one off.
