NCAA Tourney Round 1 Cheerleader Preview - #5 West Virginia v. #12 Clemson

12 seeds are always pretty dangerous in the 1st round of the tournament, but I'm not sure a 12 seed that just played 2 days ago is really going to be a huge threat to a team like West Virginia. On the other hand, Bob Huggins does have a tendency to underachieve in the tournament. Interesting.

Champs Sports Bowl Cheerleader Preview -- West Virginia v. NC State

This is the first of 2 pretty good games today. West Virginia was close to a Big East title and automatic BCS bowl game this year and NC State a solid (though maybe a little disappointing) season this year. There are a couple of top notch QBs in this game which could mean a ton of offense. All in all, a good way to start the day.

Thursday Night Football Cheerleader Preview -- South Florida v. #25 West Virginia

Oh Big East Football. Does anyone outside of that conference really give a damn until one of the conference's undeserving teams steals a BCS bid? Honestly, who is the best team in that league? Syracuse and Rutgers are both 1-0 in conference, but we all know they aren't very good. West Virginia is actually ranked, but at #25 I'm not sure you'd really brag about that. Pitt was supposed to be good, but choked that away early with losses to Utah, Miami and Notre Dame.

But, hey, it's still college football on Thursday night so I'm sure I'll watch at least some of the game. Because I'm addicted just like 74% of this country. But I refuse to care! Maybe I'll get to see some South Florida cheerleaders.

NCAA Tourney Final Four Preview -- (1) Duke v. (2) West Virginia

So here we go. The strangest Final Four in quite a while kicks off tonight with the only teams that most people really thought had a chance to make it to Indianapolis. It's no shock Duke is here. They were a #1 seed in a pretty weak region. And, yes, they are a pretty good basketball team. West Virginia was a #2 seed that a lot of people thought should have been a #1 seed (over Duke, ironically). So this match-up isn't all that unexpected.

If I had to pick a winner here, I'd go with West Virginia. They are a tough, long, fast team that makes you play the way they want to play. I may hate Bob Huggins, but it looks like he's finally kicked that whole "Chokes in the Tournament Every Year" reputation.

NCAA Tourney Sweet 16 Preview -- (2) West Virginia v. (11) Washington

So West Virginia got some bad news yesterday when they found out their starting point guard Truck Bryant is out for the year. Fortunately for the Mountaineers, I don't think it's going to be too big of an issue for them in this game. They still have De'Sean Butler and Devin Ebanks, after all, so I think they'll be fine. But it's hard to discount the surging Washington Huskies. They have been playing some really good basketball in the last couple of weeks, and that's what it's all about at this time of year.

So here we go again with the 2nd day of our NCAA TOURNEY ROUND 1 PREVIEW!!! We'll follow yesterday's format again today. About an hour or so before each game we'll post a preview of each school's real talent: the cheerleaders. Some will be better than others, but all will be fun to look at. So sit back, grab a bucket of chicken and prepare for an onslaught of cheerleaders and basketball. God I love March!!!

Syracuse v. West Virginia: The Cheerleader Preview

We've got a battle of Top 10 teams today when Syracuse travels to Morgantown to face West Virginia. Both teams are off to great starts, and this should be a heck of a game. As usual, we're only interested in the cheerleader battle. I gotta go with West Virginia on this one, just based on flexibility!

Gator Bowl -- Florida State v. West Virginia

Welcome to the Bobby Bowden Bowl! Everyone in the country, including Bobby Bowden, knows Florida State has no business playing on New Year's Day. This is all about paying tribute to an old guy that won a ton of football games over the past couple of decades. I can live with that.

West Virginia should absolutely roll FSU in this game, but don't underestimate the power of emotion. The Seminoles definitely want to send Bowden out on a high note. The only problem: emotion can't tackle Noel Devine. And I'm not sure the FSU defenders can either.

Week 13 Winners -- West Virginia

This week was Rivalry Week in college football and plenty of games lived up to the billing. The Backyard Brawl between West Virginia and Pittsburgh was certainly one of those games. WVU kicked a 43 yard field goal as time expired to knock off the #9 Panthers. This is exactly why rivalry games are so much fun.
