NCAA Championship Game Cheerleader Preview - #3 UCONN v. #8 Butler

It all comes down to this. And for the second year in a row we have the Butler Bulldogs in the NCAA Championship Game. I don't think anyone could have expected this 2 months ago when Butler was struggling. But they are here nonetheless, and people are excited.

Honestly, I don't think many people expected UCONN to be playing tonight, either. They didn't exactly light up the Big East this season, but nobody really did. The biggest positive for UCONN all season has been Kemba Walker. Dude is definitely the best player in the country, and he's been proving it over the last few weeks.

As far tonight goes, I'm rooting for Butler, but I'm picking UCONN. For one thing, I think they're a better team. But I've also been picking against Butler the entire tournament, so why not keep it up and hope that string of mis-picks continues!

Final Four Cheerleader Preview - #3 UCONN v. #4 Kentucky

If the day's first game is the battle of the underdogs, the second game is surely the battle of the big dogs. These 2 programs have a slew of Final Four appearances and national championships between them. They have both been here before and will be here again. They are also teams full of 5 star recruits and future NBA millionaires. But tonight, none of that matters once that ball gets tossed in the air. I have a feeling a feeling this game is going to feel like a heavyweight title fight. I can't wait.

Final Four Cheerleader Preview - #8 Butler v. #11 VCU

It's the Battle of the Teams That Aren't Supposed To Be Here (or BOTTTASTBH for short). Honestly, this is the game I'm most excited to see. I love the fact that one of these teams is going to be playing for the National Championship in just 2 days. Since Butler was just there last year, I'm rooting for VCU this year. They are just a great story. But regardless of who wins this game, that's who I'm rooting for Monday night!

And the dream survives for at least one more game. Most people didn't think VCU even deserved to be in the play-in game. Now they are 1 win from the first Final Four in school history. Of course, it would be a HUGE win. Not many teams beat KU. Barely any teams like VCU best Kansas. As a Mizzou fan, though, you know I've got to root for the Rams.

This is a battle of truly historic programs. A couple of Top 5 all time programs battling for a spot in the Final Four makes for great television and great television ratings. There is so much history in this match-up, honestly, that it's impossible to really go through it. And besides, history doesn't mean a damn thing once you hit the court. Though it's hard to convince some fans of that (I'm looking at you Nebraska football fans!)

NCAA Tourney Elite 8 Cheerleader Preview - #3 UCONN v. #5 Arizona

Well, I didn't see that one coming. I thought Arizona could pull off a close win against Duke, but I certainly never expected them to completely bitch-slap the defending champs. Especially since they were down 6 at halftime. They outscored the Dukies by 22 points in the 2nd half. Wow. I think Arizona might just be too hot to handle right now. But if anybody can do it, it's UCONN and the Fighting Kembas. Kemba Walker is a freak that can absolutely take over a game and single-handedly win it. I just don't think he will tonight.

NCAA Tourney Elite 8 Cheerleader Preview - #2 Florida v. #8 Butler

This is just starting to get ridiculous. There's no way Butler can make it to back-to-back Final Fours. Right? Right? I mean, they play in the Horizon League. They lost 5 games in the Horizon League and tied for 1st with Cleveland State and Milwaukee. How are they on the verge of a 2nd straight Final Four. Meanwhile, nobody is talking about how good and balanced Florida is right now. I'm so confused. But just to keep the tradition alive, I'm picking against Butler. See you in Houston, Bulldogs.

Last year's Cinderella is making some waves again this year. And just like last year, I pick them to lose every round. I always think, "They've had a good run, but it comes to an end now."
