☑ Revlon ColorSilk After-Color Conditioner

This came with the Revlon ColorSilk hair dye I used last month. This is the first after-color conditioner I use up in a looooong time! I always forget to use them LOL.

Repurchase? I'm still not sure if I would repurchase the hair dye, but it's not available in Quebec anyway (as far as I know).

What I'm currently using to replace it: Clairol Perfect 10 Nice 'n Easy Color Seal Intensive Conditioning Cream (6 weekly treatments)

 ☑ John Frieda Frizz-Ease Smooth Start Shampoo, Conditioner (8.3 mL) and Hair Serum (4.4 mL)

It was nice to try those products, but I don't really care because I don't have to deal with frizz. The serum made my hair silky soft, though!

Repurchase? no as my hair isn't prone to frizz

What I'm currently using to replace it: L'Oréal Paris EverStrong Sulfate-Free Fortify System Hydrate Shampoo, Conditioner and Overnight Repair Treatment

Like all conditiong treatments that come with hair dye, this is great. It leaves my hair soft and shiny and it smells so good!

Repurchase? I wouldn't repurchase Perfect 10 as I didn't noticed anything different from any other hair dye

This is not enough moisturizing for my parched skin and it leaves tiny residues on my face when I rub it. Oh, and it's super expensive ($73.00 for 30g)!

I'm not a fan of the fragrance, but the shower gel was OK. It was kind of cheap, though.

I swear this made my skin even drier! It's from the dollar store so of course I wasn't expecting much, but I'm really disappointed. Oh and this is more of a body lotion than a body butter. Oh well, I won't complain for a little more than $1.

What I'm currently using to replace it: Fruits Scents Strawberry Body Butter

 ☑ L'Oréal Paris EverStrong Sulfate-Free Fortify System Hydrate Shampoo, Conditioner and Overnight Repair Treatment (0.3 FLOZ, 10ML)

The smell of the shampoo and conditioner is great and they leather very well. I'm not sure about the overnight treatment hough, I haven't really noticed a difference with my hair so far.

Clairol Nice 'N Easy 123 Natural Soft Black + NOTW: Avon Nailwear Pro in Urban Grey

It was about time I dye my hair! Look at those roots:

I decided to try Clairol Nice 'N Easy in 123 Natural Soft Black because I'm tired of my brown hair fading so fast (that's why I skip a month between each dye in the summer), and I also wanted to get rid of that stubborn red stuck on the under layers of my hair. And looking at the model on the box, I figured out that this soft black was going to be more brown than black:

Tadaah!! Black hair! Now I'm not sure if I should be happy about this... but I like it! I've been tempted to go back to black hair for some times now because it's so much more easy to care for black hair than for any other color. Black doesn't fade, turns red (?!) or anything, and you don't even need to use hair products formulated for colored hair.

This week, I have Avon Nailwear Pro in Urban Grey on my nails:

It's a creamy light grey with very little shimmers that aren't really noticeable. Yesterday, one of my guy friend asked me what was that color on my nails, and when I answered it was a pale grey, he was like "But it looks like the nails of a dead person!"... -_-' LOL.

I've been lusting over Sally Hansen in Wet Cement for some times now, but I've been told it won't be available in Canada, so I jumped on the first grey nail polish I saw, which happened to be Urban Grey from Avon.

 

Urban Grey is one of the new Avon summer shades, along with Vintage Blue and Luxe Lavender.

However, don't be fooled by the awful swatches in the brochure:

Urban Grey appears silver, but it's not! I've always hated the swatches in their brochure because they are absolutely not accurate -_-

Clair Nice 'n Easy 131 Rich Dark Brown + Incoco teaser + new family member + books

I finally dyed my hair Thursday after having skipped a month, because my roots weren't that obvious (I noticed, but not others).

So here's my hair before:

Even after 2 months, you can't see my roots that much. Maybe I will start skipping a month - it can only be good for my hair.

Clair Nice 'n Easy 131 Rich Dark Brown

I never realized, but this shade is actually designed for dark hair. I wish they would make a purple-burgundy hair dye designed for dark hair, because that color just won't show up on my hair - except if I bleach it, which causes it to turn orange in two weeks -_-

Waiting time (around 25 minutes):

I like to twist my hair up so that the dye doesn't stain my tee or neck. I also try to not put dye on my ends to prevent them from frying.

It looks almost black when I'm inside, but the sun makes it appear more brown.

I went to the pet store yesterday and I came home with this little one:

I was looking for a rat similar to Dorothé (white and beige fur) but there wasn't any so I went for this cute guy with white and grey fur. He is super cute with his big ears! He is around 4 months old. 

This picture was taken when he arrived home - I meant to not activate the flash to not scare him even more, but I actived it by mistake -_- You can see that he is all tense from the car trip... poor little thing. At least he doesn't always hide in his box, but he is still a little nervous when we are around.

I went to the library with my mother today because I nearly ran out of books. I'm already at the half of the last of the three Vampire Diaires book, so I needed some backup!

Garnier Nutritioniste Skin Renew Daily Regenerating Moisture Cream

That Garnier cream is my HG facial moisturizer, as it seems to be the only one that is able to get rid of dry skin, and it makes my face feels so fresh and smooth. I was in a hurry to pan it because it has exceeded his expiration date by... almost 2 years, and the texture started to look weird. Here are some pictures of the last bits:

I'm not sure if you will be able to see it... but the texture have become a lot more watery and it was turning yellow!

I know I shouldn't have finished it as it was getting weird... but I decided to give it a try and as it didn't do nothing bad to my skin, I continued using it. I would have felt bad to throw it away )=

I will now be using my new Marcelle Hydra-C 24H Moisturizing Gel-Cream as a facial moisturizer ^^

The whipped body butter was not on my list of things to pan, but I had to use another moisturizer because I finished Avon Naturals Strawberry & Guava Moisturizing Body Yogurt. And I quickly finished it as the container is so small!

I dyed my hair with Clairol Perfect 10 in Dark Brown (espresso on the double):

So I proceeded on applying the color:

 It's funny how brown hair dye always look purple at the roots when applied!

I was afraid to let the dye only 10 minutes in my hair... so I extended it to around 15 minutes. And here is the final result, fresh from the shower:

I'm amazed at how shiny and soft my hair are now!

This Physicians Forumlas palette is actually a cream-to-powder eyeshadow. It is highly pigmented, but it seems to crease quickly... I will try using a primer before applying it next time.

It's two samples of L'Oréal EverPure Color Care System. I've got a 0.5 FL. OZ (15 ml) shampoo and conditioner. It's nice because I wanted to try these!

My mother bought me a surprise from Giant Tiger today:

Giant Tiger European Milk Chocolate! I didn't know they had their own chocolate! It's really written (C)2009 Giant Tiger Stores Limited on the back of the label... Can't wait to taste it ^^
